Mountain Magic, Inc. was incorporated in the state of Colorado on January 8, 2009 and is a 501(c)3 corporation.  The purpose of Mountain Magic is to provide opportunities for the girls in the green Mountain area to develop and enhance their basketball skills.

Mountain Magic, Inc. was formed to develop, promote and regulate basketball for girls under 18 years of age in the Green Mountain area of Denver by organizing, coaching, and providing instruction to girls youth basketball teams in this area. It is  expected that most participants in the Feeder Program will be girls who attend public elementary and middle schools that feed into Green Mountain HS or intend to enroll at Green Mountain HS.  The Feeder Program is viewed to be a viable substitute for middle school sports, which have long been eliminated from the school district budget. It provides an opportunity for girls to have a positive outlet focused on playing basketball, with the end goal of providing players to the High School Program.

The High School Program is designed for girls who play or want to play on the Green Mountain High School basketball teams and want more opportunities to improve their skills. Although the High School Program consists of girls who attend Green Mountain High School, the high school coaches do not run it.
